Add-ons

The Experience

I believe in the experience of live theatre. From rehearsal to stage, I'm anticipating shots. Acting purely on instinct to capture those moving, cinematic shots that tell the intimate details.

My typical approach is a bit different than most other theatre photographers. I aim to tell not only the story as a whole, but those minute details that might otherwise get overlooked.

I think it goes without saying that to have a successful production... you need advertisement. Photos that portray the heart and soul of a production. The depth of a character. Something to hook your viewers. Whether it's the Backstage magic, long rehearsal days... or that unforgettable moment of stepping on to the stage

That's where I come in. Taking production photos is my passion.

With getting those up close and personal shots comes with the fact that I do get on stage. Of course, respecting the actors, pivoting and staying clear of traffic patterns. Sitting down with the directors/choreographers to get a since of crowded scenes is preferred.

Based on the aesthetic of the show, the director should assign a color palette to the cast. Avoiding heavy patterns, and making sure to choose a solid color.

With headshots the aim is to capture the most genuine and honest form of you!

Relax and sit back because once you're booked, the hardest part has already been achieved! Now all you have to do is be yourself!

Headshots are important for many reasons. If you are an actor, casting agents and directors are looking for pristine, crisp, and quality images that are going to accurately portray your incredible range. If you have a cast type - along with your regular headshots - we will work together to embrace those roles and capture just what will help you book that next role!

Actors will receive a proof gallery before editing. You'll choose your five photos (see add-ons for additional photo purchases) and then I'll retouch them. After that you will receive your final gallery.

Professionals mainly go for that polished, trimmed look. Think of dressing how you want to be perceived in your business. We want you and your company to present well to any clients whether current or potential!

When we are in the studio (or my moble studio) it is imperative that you feel comfortable. We can talk about what makes you comfortable, for instance, if music makes you relax, we'll put on your favorite playlist! I will do my best to help find ways to keep your nerves at bay!

Some people underestimate the importance of consistent and quality headshots. As the photographer, I ensure that we take our time and do not rush the process to obtain a product you are proud of!

Choose well-fitted clothes in solid colors (neutral colors preferred). Avoid heavy patterns or large logo's.

If you are doing a group of people, make sure to coordinate.
You can come to my home studio (most popular with actors) or I can set up onsite with my mobile studio (most popular with groups or companies).

No matter the preference they both produce the same quality results!
For individuals, they can take anywhere from 15-60 minutes depending upon what you are looking for.

As for group sessions, 5-10 minutes with each individual is all that is needed for consistent and seamless headshots.

Every package (that specifies it) includes a basic marketing license. This entails rights for use with badges, websites, business cards, social media posts, etc.

If you are running large scale ads, billboards, etc. you will need to purchase additional licensing dependent upon intended use.

For some, the thought of a photoshoot may be daunting. I'm by no means a flawless person, the likelihood of me tripping over myself and laughing in the process is almost guaranteed! I'm not only your photographer but also a down to earth person! I am here to help every step of the way. Once I have a good idea of your vision, if you do not have a location picked out, I am more than happy to suggest which locations best fit your aesthetic! Once we have a location set, picking a package is a necessity, because every adventure needs a destination!

A big part of the planning is knowing the outcome. So being on the same page every step of the way to ensure accurate expectations is imperative! The clearer the vision, the clearer the outcome!

I believe in the authenticity of the moment. Allowing the story to unfold without awkward poses, stiff smiles, or forced laughs. Rather, allowing the moment to carry on naturally. Your focus should be carefree in nature and present in the moment.

Stepping in front of the camera can be intimidating for even the most experienced models. Whether it be posing, confidence, or any thing in between, I'm here to guide you and help you to be assured.
You will receive a proof gallery to choose your final images. Based on which package you chose, you'll have a base number of images you will receive. Any additional photos you would like to purchase can be added on. All photos you choose will be edited.

The Process

1. Contact Me! Give me information about what type of photography you would like. A brief description of your inspiration or event would be helpful. After I've received it, I review and get back to you - then the planning starts!

2. Planning: This will look different for everyone and each type of photography. It could be as simple as where I need to be for headshots, or could focus on many things like clothing, locations, props, etc. You may have a clear idea of what you would like, or may want to brainstorm for what would work best for your vision.

3. Book: Once we connect and have a solid plan in place...it's time to relax! You'll receive an email from me and a contract to book your spot! As part of the booking, you will pay a retainer fee (50% of your final cost) to ensure your date and time is secure. The remaining portion is due by the day of the shoot.

4. Let the magic begin! Once you are booked, I'll send you any information that could be helpful to prepare for your session.
